Megan Gayda and Dave Gayda
Megan is a water photographer who grew up in Essex but made her way to the west coast 11 years ago. She has long been passionate about photographing the beauty of the coast through surf and ocean photography. You can find her and more of her excellent work in the horsebox on the pier in Mullaghmore where she runs Fís Fine Art.
Megans talented father Dave will also be exhibiting some beautiful oil paintings. Dave has been honing his craft for nearly 5 decades, specialising in capturing the beauty of the coast. Both Megan and Dave have captured the beauty of the west coast of Ireland through different mediums. Megan with her Camera and Dave with his brush.
Michal Czubala
Michal is a man with many talents. From dive master to chef to photographer. This year Michal has spent more time than anyone on the water capturing our new marine visitors, humpback whales. He has captured these whales from every possible angle and this work will be on show this weekend.
Gary McCall
Originally from Northern Ireland and now Mullaghmore based, surf and aerial photographer. In the summer season Gary can often be found in the skies over Scandinavia working as an aerial mapping photographer. Over the winter months however, he spends his time photographing the huge waves that hit the Irish coastline and the surfers that tame them. The world class wave at Mullaghmore Head being a long time subject of his camera.
Aileen O'Donnell
Aileen has captured the beauty of the Irish coastline through her art. Often inspired by the beauty of Mullaghmore, her paintings of the crashing waves, and the sunsets over Classiebawn perfectly capture the beauty of the area.
Marie O'Gara
Marie is a mixed media abstract painter living in Sligo. Her intuitive and spontaneous painting style results in beautiful and unique pieces of art. While her work is abstract, there are always recognisable aspects to her work that are inspired by her Sligo surroundings.
Colm Brennan
Colm is a passionate woodturner who creates magnificent and practical pieces of art. His work is uniquely recognisable. His speciality is segmented wood turning which is a challenging skill. With practice and patience he creates his eye catching work which can take days to finish. But these pieces are always worth the time and effort!
